WICHITA, KS- Squid Ink Creatve, a partner of the National Baseball Congress, recently earned a Silver ADDY in the 2012 ADDY Awards for their cover artwork on the 2011 NBC World Series souvenir program.
The artwork promotes Major League closer Heath Bell above the tournament's official logo. Newly-renovated Lawrence-Dumont Stadium is featured in the background. Bell was named the tournament's 2011 Graduate of the Year for his time with the El Dorado Broncos in 1997.
"I have extremely enjoyed working with Squid Ink over the past three seasons," said NBC Assistant General Manager Jeremy Mock. "Derek, Frank, and Dallas have continued to grow in what they can do, and they always amaze us with new ideas. They have continued to provide us with eye-catching designs for all of our print and video in an extremely timely manner, and we couldn't be happier to call them a partner of the Wingnuts and NBC World Series."
The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 50,000 entries each year. Their purpose is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
