Nevada pounded out 19 hits as they defeated Casa Grande 14-1. Every Grffon hitter had at least one hit and they were led by Mark Wyatt. Wyatt went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's. Taylor House was also 3 for 3. Nevada hit three home runs in the game, one each by Trevor Geist, Will Feil, and Daniel Dellasega. Griffon pitcher Matt Speake gave up only 7 hits, one of which was a home run to Mike DeVito, in his 6 innings of work while striking out 8 batters.
Nevada advances to play the Seguine-Beatrice winner on Friday.
Casa Grande drops into the loser's bracket and will play on Wednesday against the loser of the Community Bank vs Seattle game.
