Anthony Maupin and the Plaza Tire Capahas erased a 4-0 deficit to defeat the El Dorado Broncos 10-6. Maupin gave up 5 runs in his first four innings of work, but settled down and reitred 10 of the final 11 batters he faced. He finished with 8 innings pitched striking out 7. The Capahas were led by Zack Borowiak who went 3-4 with a run scored and 2 RBI's. Ryan Hudgins for the Broncos and Jerry Hodges for the Capahas each had a home run.
Plaza Tire advances to play the Ft. Lauderdale-Santa Barbara winner on Friday, August 8.
El Dorado drops into the elimination bracket and will play the Gunnison vs. Park City Rangers loser on Wednesday, August 6.
