WICHITA, Kansas – The National Baseball Congress announced today that the winner take all championship game of the BaseballSavings.com 76th Annual NBC World Series on Friday, August 13th will be played at 7:00 PM CST and will be televised live on COX Cable Kansas 22 throughout the state of Kansas. Game time was originally slated for 6:00 PM but with only one game Friday night, the game time has been pushed back to fill a prime-time slot at the Lawrence-Dumont Stadium and on Kansas 22. Live stats from the game along with the radio broadcast of 93.5 FM KWME (Wichita, KS) will also be available online.
Heading into the Thursday there are four teams with one loss which includes the Denver (CO) Cougars, Liberal (KS) Bee Jays, Santa Barbara (CA) Foresters and Seattle (WA) Studs. The winner of Denver vs. Liberal (Thursday at 6:00 PM) and winner of Santa Barbara vs. Seattle (Thursday at 8:30 PM) will meet in the Championship game on Friday at 7:00 PM.
If the Santa Barbara (CA) Foresters make it to the title game on Friday evening, plans are in place for COX Santa Barbara to air the game tape delayed to fill a prime-time slot in the PST time zone.
