In what was a slow and methodical game - with an almost mechanical pace, it was the Conejo (CA) Oaks who went away with the win over the Nevada (MO) Griffons 4-2 in a ten inning crawl. One of the most exciting parts of the early half of the game was a bat that flew out of the hands of Oaks third baseman Ryan Delgado and almost hit a woman behind the third base dugout. The Griffons scored one run in the second inning to be answered by the Oaks - who scored one run in the fourth and fifth. The Griffons tied the game in the eighth with a solo run, the game went to extra innings and was capped off by two run tenth inning by Conejo and a double play defensively.
