What started out as a blowout ended in a close game between the LA Rockies and the Austin, TX Gold Sox. The Rockies were able to hold on to their early game lead and ended up winning 11-10. The Gold Sox made a tremendous comeback in the 8th inning scoring six runs which cut the Rockies lead to one. Neither team was able to score in the 9th inning. The Rockies were lead by short stop Jordan Marks with three hits and one RBI in five at bats.
