The first game this evening was between the Derby Twins and the Casa Grande Cotton Kings. The Twins got off to a great start with help of Kevin Hall who demonstrated tremendous poise by stealing home in the first inning (as part of a triple steal) which allowed them to take a 1-0 lead. Cole Waddell picked up where Kevin left off with a double in the 4th that drove in three runs. Casa Grande showed some life in 7th inning where they managed to score two runs but it wasn't enough. The Twins cruised on to victory with a final score of 6-2.
