With the 5-1 victory over the Park City Rangers the Newton Rebels move one game closer to the NBC Midwest Regional championship game. They will have to play the Team Elite Kings to get a rematch against the El Dorado Broncos, who sent both teams into the losers bracket. Rebels pitcher Kyle Cremers threw all nine innings against the Rangers and only gave up one run in the process. Right fielder Andrew Revall came up big with two RBI and one run scored in just three at bats.
