The El Dorado Broncos earned their spot in the NBC Midwest Regional championship game by defeating the Team Elite Kings 6-0. The game was scoreless the entire game except the six runs the Broncos grabed in the fifth inning. The Kings made a few costly mistakes in the inning, including walking a batter while the bases were loaded and a throwing error to first base on an attempted double play that ended up scoring two runners. After a pitching change by the Kings the Broncos loaded the bases once again. After another throwing error intended for first base two more runners scored for the Broncos. While the Broncos did not look extremely overpowering with their win they showed the ability and aptitude to capitalize on their opponents mistakes. The Kings will look to rebound and try to win their way back into the championship game by taking on the winner of the Park City Rangers and Newton Rebels in the losers bracket.
