The El Dorado Broncos sent the the Park City Rangers to the losers bracket with a 10-0 victory. This was the biggest upset in the tournament, as the Rangers were the number one seeded team. One of the most blaring statistical differences in the game was the number of hits per team, the Rangers only had three compared with the fifteen the Broncos got. The standout player for the Broncos was left fielder Dorain Williams, who had a total of five RBI in the game. Chris Craycraft also threw six innings for the Broncos and gave up no runs before Matt Theisen pitched the seventh inning and the game came to a close due to the run rule.
