The opening game of day three in the NBC Midwest Regional was won by the Lindsborg Knights, who defeated the Community Bank Cowboys 11-3. The Cowboys two pitchers walked a total of nine batters and the team had five errors in the game. The loss eliminates the Cowboys from play and the Knights will move on in the losers bracket to square off against the winner of the Valley Center Diamond Dawgs and the Hutchinson Monarchs.
