In a game fueled by offense the Valley Center Diamond Dawgs defeated the Wichita Rock Hounds 13-3. The Diamond Dawgs struck early with six runs in the first inning. Picking up another run in the fifth inning the Dawgs continued riding their lead into the sixth inning. However, the Rock Hounds tried to rally with three runs of their own in the sixth. Repeating their first inning numbers the Dawgs capped the game with another six runs in the sixth and ended the game earlier than expected due to the NBC Midwest Regional's run rule. The Dawgs dominating performance was aided by third baseman Dustin Moses who had 3 hits, 3 runs and 3 RBI on 4 at bats. With their win the Dawgs will next face the second seeded Wichita Sluggers tommorow at 4 PM.
