NBC Loses Two More Legends

We would like to express our condolences to the Anchorage Bucs and Liberal Bee Jays Baseball Families who both lost very good men last week. 

Dennis Mattingly, the founder and lifeblood of the Anchorage Bucs baseball team, died Thursday night (January 5th) at his Anchorage, AK home after a long and often public battle with cancer at the age of 63.  Read more here: http://www.thenewstribune.com/2012/01/06/1972368/former-general-manager-of-anchorage.html#.TwijW4kcC5g.facebook#storylink=cpy 

Bob Carlile, the long time General Manager of the Liberal Bee Jays baseball team & 2010 NBC Hall of Fame Inductee, died Friday evening (January 6th, 2012) at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS from heart complications at the age of 74.  Read more here: http://beejays.net/?p=349

Both men played a very important role over the last several years in the growth and history of the National Baseball Congress and the NBC World Series.  Both Dennis and Bob will be greatly missed by the National Baseball Congress Baseball Family!
