Hite Gavin picked up the win for the Seattle Studs. Gavin allowed no earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.
Kyle Jackson couldn't get it done on the bump for the St. Joseph Mustangs, taking a loss. He pitched a solid eight innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
With the win the Seattle Studs advance to Friday's NBCWS Semi-Finals taking on the Hays Larks at 6pm. St. Joseph finishes in a tie for 5th.
