Leblanc allows no runs to lead the Greeley Grays past the San Luis Obispo Blues 1-0

David Leblanc kept the San Luis Obispo Blues (1-1) off the board during his six innings of work and the Greeley Grays (2-0) beat the San Luis Obispo Blues, 1-0.

Leblanc struck out two and allowed one walk and four hits.

Justin Byrd helped the Greeley Grays score their one and only run in the tenth inning. Darryl Baca singled to start the tenth. He then went from first to second on a single by Darius Coldiron. Finally, Byrd came to the plate with the game scoreless in the tenth inning and singled, plating Baca.

Chad Girodo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the NBCWS. In 2 2/3 innings of work, struck out four, and allowed one run.
